One little nitpick: I think it might be OK for different-language editions to have separate versions if the artwork and/or components are different.

But yes, the Versions system has become a joke, basically amounting to 'how many different languages can a game be released in' and 'how many different distributors can a game have' vs. single multilingual edition, while the true things it should be tracking, like different editions and re-implementations, are still relegated to separate game entries/rooms.
I hate how the separate entries/rooms causes a huge duplication of threads and topics.

I wish this could be fast-tracked ahead of all the tons of other suggestions that basically amount to "I want to do this in 1 click instead of 5 clicks'. As opposed to something truly useful which you cannot work around today.
