I gotta say the downgrade to crappy card stock player boards from awesome chip board ones is bad enough for everyone to gripe about all the time to everyone else. Either it means FFG doesn't care enough about original customers to maintain component consistancy for future expansions or they're just not planning on making any more expansions that introduce new factions. Both of those things are bad and I don't like them.
The mountains are a non-issue. None of the series' future development hinges on them.
My ultimate wishes for the revised edition: keep it simple and follow it up with an expansion which should have some kind of boss character and new factions.
