I think "weakest class" has a lot of factors such as scenario setup, party level, own level, scenario level, party composition etc.
[o]Overall we found the summoners allies to be not so good, mostly because they lack ranged attacks, but some - for instance the one who spawns two instances but also the one with 2 shields - is really good.
I found that the summoner feels like a spellweaver somehow that lacks some power ... sadly the spellweavers minion is so far - aside the beastmaster's bear the best summon... just cause it can be upgraded well through enhancements, has a reasonable movement speed, does descent damage and BEST OF ALL, is a ranged attacker.
The worst about minions is not that they "auto-act" but that once they did so and are melee, they act before your initiative and thus always get hit in their face if they are adjacent and you are too... if you have good and aggressive playing tank with low init cards then maybe the summoner can shine a bit.
However... compared to the Music Class, the Beastmaster, the Medic or the Elementalist,... sadly he feels dim... I would probably only pick him over the Tinkerer which I felt just played no fun... versus the Medic or Cragheart who did @ Healers.[/o]
Edit: And while I am not sure about the strongest class ... the Tiers - with respect of early AND late game power - IMHO are:
[o]Tier 1:
Medic
Elementalist
Music Class
Scoundrel
Spellweaver
Elementalist
Tier 2:
Cragheart
Tier 3:
Brute
Mindthief
Summoner
Tier 4:
Tinkerer[/o]
Triangle IMHO leads the pack as s/he is able to kill 4 Normals every turn. (turn, pot, turn, pot, turn, item->pot, turn, short rest, turn, short rest, turn, etc)... I was able to deal more than 60 damage in 3 turns by killing level 4/5 "Savaas" which have beyond 20 hp..... just remove them from the board. Some other class was able to lose a card to kill an elite, it was nice but a one time effect.

What does pot mean?
