I bought the game in Essen after participating in a demo round. I've played The Resistance often before, and we always did it this way: The leader proposes a team ("I would pick myself, player B and player D"), everyone discusses what they think of it and how they would vote on this team, sometimes the leader proposes a different team based on that, discussion continues, until the leader finally settles on a team and everyone votes, and sometimes there's a discussion of these votes before the team members' mission votes. In the Avalon demo round in Essen, the leader immediately picked a team which was then voted on right away, with the possibility to discuss the leader's choices and the votes afterwards (before the mission votes). So no way to for example tell the leader "If you'll pick these two, I will vote no".Did something change or have we been playing it wrong all this time? How are you supposed to do it?
