Thread: Smash Up:: Rules:: Proper use of a discarded card as an "extra" minion

Just looking for a little clarification on this. Tenacious Z's card text (for example) states "Special: During your turn you may play this card from your discard pile as an extra minion. You may only use the ability of one Tenacious Z each turn."

In my mind, this could mean:

1) I have the ability to pull a Tenacious Z card out of my discard pile and put him in play every turn.

OR

2) I have the ability to pull a Tenacious Z card out of my discard pile and put him in play whenever a card (such as the Microbot Reclaimer) allows me to play an extra minion.

Which of these is the correct reading?
