I cut a hole in the center part of the insert. Most of the minis fit into that area, and I don't have to bother with lifting the insert and all that rigamarole. I use ziploc baggies for every component too, so they're someewhat protected from damage that comes from moving around in the box. Most the tiles fit in the side areas, and the few that don't, I lay across the top of the insert with the rulebooks. The other thing I do is save one or two of the punch sheets to create a flat surface to put the rulebook and tiles on. That way the tiles don't fall partially into the insert pockets and the rulebook won't warp over time.Everything fits in nice and snug, but with no issues by cutting a hole in the middle section of the insert. This is the cheapest, easiest, and most convenient fix, IMO.
I'll see if I can find time to post an image.

Here you go:
I put the biggest minis in the center cut-out area. I put all the tiles to the left side and stack other things on top, like the cards, campaign sheets, etc. I put most of the tokens on the right side. It all fits quite well. The you can see on the right side how I have the bigger tiles that will lay across the top of everything. I hate knowing that it's not a flat surface to lay the tiles and books on, so I always keep a couple of the punch sheets to create a flat surface. They're lying under the tiles and books.
Hope this helps! I find there's no need to go buying anything, and you can keep the cool artwork on the insert present. Best fix.
Oh, I forgot one very important step: reverse the insert! It creates the negative of what comes in the box, so you have more dropped space and less raised space. Then I cut the hole.
