I have been in love with the thought of the edge of darkness ever since I first saw it on the back page of a mystic vale rule book. I was one of the first 50 or 100 kick starter backers. That’s where things get interesting.To give you a bit of backstory my mother passed away and I lost her house to the estate, and that’s where I was living taking care of her. I ended up having to move my family of six into a whole new house The same time that the kick starter ended, without me even realizing it my payment failed. I was also locked out of the email address that I used for all of my kick starter’s when I changed my Internet service provider. After a couple of months I get back on my feet, I get interested in my hobbies again, and life slowly starts to return to normal. My first thought is to look into edge of darkness and see what’s happening, how it’s progressing, what’s going on? I found that my pledge didn’t go through, so I contact AEG and I give them my money via PayPal, and keep in mind this is somewhere near $200 if not over, I pledge for absolutely freaking everything with every add-on everything you can look forward to.
I still haven’t received anything from them. Ryan told me he thought it would go out before Gen Con, then I was told sorry it’ll go out after we get back from Gen Con, then I was told sorry it’ll go out before the end of August, here it is Aug 31st and still no word or anything. They’re going to launch another edge of darkness kick starter before I’ve even received my first one, I would think that wouldn’t be a good business practice.
