hi to all mate!

my group have a hard time to play SoB.. so we need some advice..

1) flee from encounter: liutenant can flee from sideway or only run along 33 space side? (map is 33x27 i think)

It used to be any edge, but the final FAQ changed it.
FAQ pg28
Fleeing Encounters
Players
(heroes) and lieutenants may only flee off of the opposite side of the map they appeared on. They can no longer move off the “sides” of the map, only the edge opposite from their starting edge. Lieutenants who flee from an encounter are now moved to their starting space on the overland map.

2) anyone have a House rules for fleeing liutenant and siege? i think is a lot boring to force a liutenant to flee and the next week he begin a new siege on the same spot (like siren and her starting point)

tnx to all!!

p.s. soar is too powerfull in encounter on the sea map......

See above - Lts go back to their starting location now, which is a major change from a one trail flee. If they are seiging a city close to their own start point then the heroes will know in advance that the Lt will be back quickly and should factor that into their planning.
The heroes are notactually required to defend any partcular city - sometimes you just have to let the OL siege some cities - it can be very hard for an OL to accumulate CT late in the game without getting 3-4 per week from having razed cities.

Soar is powerful, but the heroes can get around it with AoE weapons. It can make some enounters difficult, which is only fair (they shouldn't all be easy), but with the right preparation and planning they are still do-able.
