Still a work in progress, because we don't play with that many people regularly. But for those that do, here you go. Please follow up with feedback if you can so that we can rebalance it faster.1) On 6 player games, 6th player is a Hero. Follow all Hero rules for choice and classes as normal.
2) Minion Monsters have Master health, armor, and attack dice (not abilities)
3) If monster group has 2 or less creatures, they spawn normally. If they have 3 or more, they spawn an additional monster when reinforcing.
4) After three heroes move, OL may have a free turn to move one monster group. He may not reinforce at this time. The OL may choose not to move any monster groups. This free turn is not considered the OL's turn. No cards that activate at the start of OL's turn may be played at this time. All unmoved monster groups may be moved as normal during the OL's normal turn.
5) On 7 player games, 7th player is a Player Lieutenant (PLT) for the Overlord (OL). He may pick a Hero and Hero class available from those that the Heroes have not chosen.
PLT spawns at the Exit when available. If not available, PLT spawns adjacent to a LT. If neither are available, PLT spawns with the furthest monster group in relation to the Heroes.
PLTs do not spawn as monsters do. They get Knocked Out as Heroes would. He may Get Up as heroes do on his turn if Knocked out. All monsters and LTs now also have the action to revive a Knocked out PLT. PLTs may spend one surge per roll to remove one wound. PLTs may spend one surge per roll to remove one fatigue.
Any items/relics that would normally would be refreshed during the OL's turn that the PLT is carrying is now ONLY refreshed on the PLT's turn. PLT may not search search tokens for search items. As an action, he may steal a search item from a Knocked Out Hero. Heroes may also use an action to steal from a knocked out PLT. He may use these items as if he were a hero.
PLT gets monetary rewards for selling items between missions as heroes would and gains monetary rewards at the end of campaign equivalent to heroes opposite the win condition. IE if the Heroes lose, he/she receives the rewards as if Heroes would have won. Conversely, if Heroes win, he/she receives rewards as if Heroes would have lost.
PLT's turn is taken either during the OL's turn between activating OL's monster group, or as a replacement to the OL's free turn after the third hero takes his turn. This is the PLT's choice, not the OL. Priority of who goes first goes to PLT.
PLT does not get special rule actions available to other monsters/LTs unless they are available to all monster groups and or all LTs. For the purpose of targeting and effects, the PLT is considered an LT of the OL.
