I disagree with this being Multiple-Lot Auction. Players are not placing their "bets" in parallel. It's very much in serial. Moreover to be an auction, I would think each player would get to up their previous "bid". But that isn't allowed here. As soon as a player puts tokens on a spot, they cannot put any more tokens on that spot this round.

I like the idea of calling it a turf war in prison, but that turf war is very much done by worker placement (in my mind).
