I love that game and I am lucky enough to have a Deluxe edition. The quality is insane.I agree with 99% of your review, even "the bad", minus the story thing (but I might be too willing to accept anything from that great universe, especially after reading the artbook!)
The only thing I slightly disagree with you is when you say that it's a character building. I find that part not so important, because with your dial, you will only have your base shield plus 2 more character cards, which you can't choose (you just draw them), so the building part, which for me means being able to configure the character, is very limited, to my opinion. But I also like that part, it means as you said that the replayability is great because the probability you'll get the same cards when you play with the same character is very limited.
