Babylon 5 Has the best character arcs. and is great even when re-watching - you'll see it all through new eyes - noticing things that were "hidden in plain sight" so to speak.Sadly it was cancelled - then renewed twice (during it's 5 season planned run) leading to some odd viewing order suggestions (especially when you include the movies etc.) >>> https://babylon5.fandom.com/wiki/Viewing_Order<<<
Yes the special effects are dated but it's the story, and especially the characters, that make the show. It's far from perfect but it's still one of the best.
