i have not played the demo having been lucky enough to pick up a copy. in the full game the markers are indeed all one color with only a white starburst on the active side. when turned face down no white shows at all. makes it very easy to distinguish who has not yet acted as well as who owns which creature.as for the tokens, i dont believe i have used any tokens in my games yet, only a few cards use them. there are ready markers but those are eather bright green/goldish (ready) or very drab and dull (used) again making it easy to scan the board and see which abilities can be used.
comming from someone who has played the full game i can say i do not have a problem with the action or ready markers. my suggestion would be to try the full game before you make a final judgement for yourself.
