The literal translation is correct.
The deeper meaning beyond "Ohne Furcht und Adel" is pun on a German idiom "Ritter ohne Furcht und Tadel": a knight without fear and beyond reproach, a knight in shining armor.

In which case, would Without Fear and Nobility be a better translation?

Since Nobility can refer to standards of behaviour as well as having aristocratic rank.
