For most scenarios, the first card that I play is Concentrated Rage. IMO it is the key card for the damage that the Bear can deal. I think there are a few ways to play the Beast Tyrant, but it's hard to imagine that going anything but full Bear can yield as much damage.
I've a couple of questions....
I've been playing this class now for 2 games and to be honest I'm struggling with this card. The extra 3 damage/Move don't seem all that valuable when compared to the cards you could be playing instead...
Am I missing something?
Do you realize that it's a persistent ability without a lost condition? You play it to the Active area early, and then apply it when you want. When you use it, it adds +3 to both the Bear's normal attack and then the bottom Command attack action. Early on, that's usually two Attack 5s. Later on, that becomes even bigger, and depending on item/card choices, it can also be up to 4 attacks at the highest levels. At those levels, you can do insane damage. Two Attack 5s at low levels is pretty good too though.
So, I can think of 1 combo that will give you two attack 5's. Forgo top attack for bear's auto turn to be attack 5 and then use the bottom attack 2 increasing the damage by 3 for a 2nd attack 5. But that's it. This combo is repeatable but maybe 3 time total if you are short/long resting after having spent most or all of your cards. What other combo do you use to gain attack 5?
Also, I'm curious about how you do a repeatable 25 damage often.
