I was reading the rules and looking around here but I can't seem to find out this tiny little bit about ports that is still nagging me. If you have an Island (white bordered area) with a port in it and decide to place a ship in a port instead of the water around the island, with a march order, does the ship leave the port to enter the water around the island, or can it immediately move from the island spot, go through the white border and end up in the sea?

aka do you have to "waste a turn" to get a ship from port to water around island to sea, or can the ship simply go from port to sea?
This is already answered, but just in case there is any doubt:
a) Ships can only be in sea areas (including ports, which are a special type of sea area)
b) the "sea" shown on the map within the white borders around Pyke and Dragonstone area have no game function (they are purely cosmetic). They are not separate areas, nor do they allow ships to enter these land areas
c) ships move from a port only to the (unique for each port) sea area they are connected to (conversely ships can only move into a port from that sea area - or by being built). For instance, the Narrow Sea for White Harbor port or Shipbreaker Bay for Dragonstone port.
