With The Little Meeple Opinions, I share my view on the experience with kid games (around 6 years) . Hope this is helpful.Dragomino
Aim of the game is to find as many baby dragons as possible on the Dragon Island. The game has a simplified engine of Kingsdomino where players take turns choosing domino-like tiles and adding them to discover the island. If tiles match, players will have a chance to choose an egg, which could be a baby dragon (a point) or an empty egg.
Impressions:
[BGCOLOR=#009900]Fit for kids[/BGCOLOR]: The game with kids works well as they get challenged by little decisions: which tile to take and where to place it to maximize the number of eggs. Then, they are also involved in the egg selection where they have fun to choose and see if they got a baby dragon or an empty egg.

Fit for the older[/BGCOLOR]: Parents can have fun while playing with the kids as well, although I think it would not be played without kids.
[BGCOLOR=#009900]Time to play[/BGCOLOR]: No more than 15 minutes, I think this is the best time for six year old children.
[BGCOLOR=#006633]Set Up[/BGCOLOR]: Easy. Just placing the eggs on the table takes a couple of minutes, then it is time to play.
[BGCOLOR=#009900]Artwork[/BGCOLOR]: The components are high quality and colorful.
[BGCOLOR=#00FF00]Theme[/BGCOLOR]: Dragons are catchy for kids.
[BGCOLOR=#00FF00]Replayability[/BGCOLOR]: Quite high, every game is different and kids won't get easily bored. Furthermore, the game offers a variant that adds some challenge.
[BGCOLOR=#009900]Overall[/BGCOLOR]: When you hear kids saying continuously "another one", it means they love it.
I believe the game is very balanced between strategy, luck and fun. Kids are happy when they make a very good decision in selecting a tile and simply love to choose among the eggs with the hope to find a baby dragon.
If you look for something fun and smart to play with the kids, Dragomino is definitely a very good choice.
